Alone and Invisible

All alone in the dark, were light never shines
All alone in the wilderness, were nobody lives
All alone in my room, were no one else is,
Because everyone is with you.
Everyone is invited over to your place
Except for one,
You never see her pain,
Her suffering,
Of being alone,
And invisible,
She always in your shadows when it’s dark and light,
She’s always laughing with you and everyone else,
But she isn’t always there,
She isn’t with you when 5 others are
She isn’t over you house or someone else’s when everyone else is,
She’s at home all alone
With no one to care for her
She’s cut away from talking and laughing
She’s cut away from hugs and love
She’s hoping that someone will lead her to the light,
For where she lives there is none
She’s hoping that you see her, that she’s not invisible
And she’s hoping you never leave her too.
Those hopes were broken
Sad to say
Instead of being with you and all of your friends,
She’s in her room, crying,
Until the darkness strikes again,
Wishing that she ran out of tears by now
Wishing you were with her,
To keep her company, but
You are with your other group of friends,
Not even thinking about whom she is or what she’s doing
You’re having fun,
And I’m glad you are
To know that you’re having a good time makes feel good
Even though it’s not nearly as good as being there with you,
I want to draw with you,
Bake stuff with you,
Help around the house,
Sing an awesome song,
And have fun,
For I want to heal my heart,
But it’s going the other way now,
It’s slowly breaking even more
As the days go by
And I cry
Wondering if I belong
Do you really care about me enough to make me cry?
Do you even know that I do cry?
Do you enjoy being around me?
If so please let me know
I want to be a fun friend
A helpful friend
A friend that you need
And a friend that you want
I’m invisible to those of many
But I want to be seen
By you
And others
I don’t want to be alone with no one but myself
I just want you to be with me as a friend
That cares.
